The program started with the inspiring message from the Suarez-Tominobo Branch Representative Ms. Janice A. Dagonan, and followed by Ms. Julie T. Quijano, the Head Office Marketing Representative, introducing what Aflatoun is and how it can touch the young lives of these kids instilling the spirit of savings by their own effort. The parents are also explicated on the implementation of the Aflatoun, on how these kids can deposit their money, and other concern regarding the Savings Process so that, on the part of the parents, they also understand and thus can assist and encourage their child to partake to this program. As the orientation part is done, the kids are very active in answering some impromptu questions given. Distribution of Coin banks and Registration of new account follows.

The day ended with 25 newly registered Aflatoun account, adding the 84 accounts that already registered on the soft launching of the program weeks ago. The MSU-IIT NMPC Suarez Tominobo Branch is now having an overall 109 Aflatoun savings account, with the total deposit of P87,589.00.

By sharing the burning spirit of Aflatoun among the kids, The MSU-IIT National Multi-Purpose Cooperative is just starting its part on educating and expose these children to separate fiction and fact, to let them explore, to think and investigate, then act at their young age, for the better future of this community.
