COOP Visits Bantay Bata Center to Give Smiles to Kids

It feels good to be young again!

The month of January is full of surprises as the Cooperative Social Responsibility Committee headed by Dir. Niña Flor B. Batara joins forces with the Marketing Department as well as some Head Office department heads and staffs to give joy to our young Iliganons who find refuge in Bantay Bata Center, Tipanoy, Iligan City.

What seemed to be gloomy and hesitant faces turned out to become cheeky smiles and teary eyes as the team made it sure that the program will be more about games and inspiration. Even the adults were left out from the competition as the kids charged themselves up!

Both parties gave their best to become children for once. The team rendered their very own version of boy-band performance entitled “One Thing” and even stretched their limbs out with the sweat-intensive “Whoops Keri Whoops”. The kids (we might never thought of) responded in an even fancy scheme of dance steps with the song “Down” by Jay Sean. The joyous moment lasted for the hours to past.

The visit may have find its ending but one thing is for sure – it reminded the team that sometimes it is in the eyes of the children that we can reflect upon ourselves the meaning of life.
